October is upon us, and that means big savings have arrived. Find out where to dine for less during October 2018 restaurant weeks.

* Chicago’s In Good Taste invites you to dine at more than 100 of Chicago’s most chic establishments, including Tanta (whose pastel de choclo is pictured above), during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Proceeds from special menu items will benefit The Lynn Sage Foundation and local breast cancer research through October 31. Make a reservation.

* The first ever International Curry Week launches soon in New York City, courtesy of Bira 91, the global beer brand. Enjoy custom dinner menus, curated curry dishes, and pairings with Bira 91’s most distinctive handcrafted beers for $35-$45, October 12-28. Make a reservation.

* Mpls.St.Paul Magazine Restaurant Week hits the Twin Cities with $10, $15, $20 + $25 lunch and $15, $20, $25, $30+ $35 dinners, October 14-19. Make a reservation.

* Western New York Local Restaurant Week comes to the Niagara Falls area mid-month with special lunch + dinner menus for $20.18, $30.18 + $40.18, October 15-21. Make a reservation.

* Restaurants for Change is happening in Toronto on October 17. Restaurants in 15 Canadian cities will join together to donate proceeds from dinner service to support healthy food programs across Canada. Make a reservation.

* Richmond Restaurant Week features three-course $29.18 dinners at some of Richmond’s top restaurants October 22-28. Each restaurant will donate $4.18 from each restaurant week meal to FeedMore, the umbrella organization for the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels. Make a reservation.

* Hudson Valley Restaurant Week showcases the best of the fall bounty with $22.95 lunches and $32.95 dinners, October 29-November 11. Make a reservation.
