This medium-bodied red is highly acidic, making it a great choice with tomato-centric sauces. You can also expect to taste fruit-forward notes with a hint of spice. Lychee Martinis with Chinese

A wise person once said, “Lo mein is the window to the soul.” Okay, maybe that was just us. Either way, Chinese food is the king of take-out orders and a weekly staple in most households—judging by our recent delivery survey results, our diners agree. So how can you level-up this top reigning cuisine? Two words, Lychee Martini. This Asian-inspired cocktail is as smooth as can be, a fruity complement to the salty, sour flavors found in most Chinese dishes. Here’s an easy recipe for you to try:

  • Fill a shaker halfway with ice, add in 3 oz vodka, 1 oz dry vermouth and ⅓ cup lychee juice (fresh is always best, but feel free to use a can)

  • Make the tea ahead of time. Using Pantai Thai Tea Mix or any Ceylon/black tea bags boil water and steep your tea.
  • Stir in ¾ cups of sugar until it’s dissolved, then let it cool in the fridge.
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in 1 oz vodka or rum, then add the tea.
  • Add a splash of condensed or coconut milk, stir, and serve!

Bordeaux with BBQ

Whether you’re a true Southerner or just an all-out bbq enthusiast, it’s hard to resist the calling this comfort food.
