Chef Laurence Edelman will be serving a four-course meal for $75 highlighting some of his best hits, including the warming sunchoke and onion soup, a tapas-inspired grilled octopus with spicy chili aioli potatoes, heavenly strozzapreti cacio e pepe with pancetta, and a crispy iron-roasted split chicken with salsify and roots. Natsumi Tapas, Gramercy
Natsumi Tapas, a Japanese and Italian fusion spot from restaurateur Barbara Matsumura, is offering a tapas menu for $38 a person. The offer includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, a choice of one alcoholic beverage, and choice of two items (from either the sushi bar or the kitchen) as well as dessert. Executive Chef Carlos Carreto has put together a delectable $75 Valentine’s Day menu ($120 with pairings of selected Greek wines chosen by wine director Kamal Kouiri). Options include grilled baby octopus with warm toy box cherry tomatoes and thyme vinaigrette, braised beef short ribs with red wine, pearl onions, tomato, and spices and warm polenta.
