A live cooking competition in which home cooks will test their skills preparing one course of a three-course meal for 45 guests at Rover’s Restaurant, the Kitchen Circus reality competition involves real people at every stage: only amateur home cooks can audition to compete, the dishes will be judged by all the dinner guests, and videos will be free for our online fans. One home cook winner will be chosen at the end of each dinner, and the winners from the first three episodes will move on to the finale at the end of the season.
Chef Thierry Rautureau is the award-winning chef-owner of Rover’s and Luc restaurants in Seattle. In addition to his recent appearances on Top Chef Masters, Chef Rautreau co-hosts a radio and podcast series with Tom Douglas called Seattle Kitchen Saturdays and Sundays on KIRO 97.3 FM, and annually hosts The Bite Cooks, previously distributed on Comcast On Demand.Kitchen Circus will be filmed throughout November 2012.
