You’re cordially invited to Saber! A Celebration of JJ’s in Kansas City on Sunday, April 7th, at The American Restaurant. From 5PM-8PM, The American Restaurant will host Kansas City’s finest chefs and beverage vendors in support of the JJ’s Family. One of the oldest independently operated restaurants in Kansas City, JJ’s was completely destroyed by a devastating fire on February 19th. The fire also claimed the life of JJ’s employee Megan Cramer.
You can show your support by purchasing tickets to Saber! The event will feature tasting stations, a silent auction, and a “Hall of Fame” wine silent auction showcasing bottles three liters or larger. The bottles will be signed by JJ’s owner Jimmy Frantze.
In addition to The American Restaurant, participating restaurants and chefs include Craig Adcock (Jude’s Rum Cake), bluestem/rye, Café Sebastienne, Coaches, Happy Gillis, Jasper’s, Lon Lane’s Inspired Occasions, The Rieger Hotel, Grill & Exchange, and Starker’s Restaurant, among others.
Tickets are $75 for general admission and $35 for restaurant industry professionals. All money raised will be donated to the JJ’s Staff Assistance Fund. Purchase your tickets at saberjjs.brownpapertickets.com
