Featuring restaurants beloved by locals and visitors alike, the complete list highlights restaurants in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, D.C., including Little Goat in Chicago, M Street Kitchen in Santa Monica, and Le Diplomate in Washington, D.C. The Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Top Summer Travel Destinations in America 2016 list is generated from more than 1.4 million restaurant reviews submitted by verified OpenTable diners between June 1, 2015, and May 31, 2016. All restaurants with a minimum “overall” score and number of qualifying reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then sorted according to a score calculated from each restaurant’s average rating in the “kid friendly” category. Based on this methodology, the following restaurants, listed in alphabetical order, comprise the Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Top Summer Travel Destinations in America 2016, according to OpenTable diners. Top 25 Mom-friendly Dining Cities in the U.S.

[singlepic id=95 w=400 h=600 float=left]In celebration of Mother’s Day, we are pleased to release our rankings of the Top 25 Mom-friendly Dining Cities in the U.S. This list represents the best cities for moms who are also fun-seeking foodies.

The results are spread across 16 states and point to the places where it’s terrific to be both a mom and a foodie. Florida, California, and Texas cities are well represented, as is North Carolina, which boasts wins for Charlotte and Raleigh.

In order to provide this ranking, the OpenTable Mom-friendly Dining Index was calculated using four variables based on OpenTable reservation and diner reviews data from 2012: the percentage of people who dined out for Mother’s Day; the percentage of restaurants rated “kid-friendly;” the percentage of restaurants rated “romantic;” and the percentage of restaurants rated “hot spots.”

Top 100 Kid-Friendly Restaurants: 2011 Diners’ Choice Award Winners Announced

Italian fare is a popular pick for kids who like to dine out!

As kids head out of school for the summer, OpenTable is  thrilled to announce the 100 winners of the 2011 Diners’ Choice Awards for Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in the U.S. The list of winners is derived from more than ten million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 12,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The state of California boasts 26 winning spots on the list, including 13 in the San Francisco vicinity alone — a boon for Bay Area babies and their parents. The Midwest is also best, with Illinois and Minnesota claiming 12 spots each. Massachusetts and New York earned 11 and 12 nods, respectively. Other stand-out states include Pennsylvania and Ohio, as well as Washington D.C. Winners also represented Arizona, Georgia, Hawaii, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, among others. Italian fare proved popular with families, with a strong showing from Buca di Beppo restaurants as well as Manhattan favorites Carmine’s 91st Street and Carmine’s Midtown, as well as several others.
