Beginning Monday, February 5th, Dante will kick off “The Martini Hour,” a five-day residency at Gramercy Tavern showcasing variations of the martini. Created by Dante’s Naren Young, a specialty aperitivo menu will be served at the Gramercy Tavern Bar from 4-7PM every day through Friday, February 9th. Dante martini varietals range from classic to modern and include highlights such as the Olive Oil Martini with olive oil washed vodka, olive vermouth, olive bitters, olive mist, and house-cured olives, and the Rose Petal Martini made with Hendrick’s, manzanilla, lychee, Peychaud’s bitters, saline, and rose water. Antipasti pairings will be created by Gramercy Tavern chef Michael Anthony and will include crab salad with pepper sauce, beef frittata with blue cheese, and lobster with balsamic caviar, among others.
