Ambiance is so important! TGI Fridays is not romantic. Freemason Abbey in Norfolk, VA VERY romantic, the lighting, the menu, and ambiance, so old fashioned and classic. I wish I were going on Monday, but my husband is deployed
A combination of several things create romance. For a restaurant to set the mood, they need to create the right atmosphere, lighting, and music. And of course great food and wine always help! I’ll be celebrating my Valentine’s Day at Blue Star Bistro and Wine Bar in Chicago, they have amazing food! Plus there will be live entertainment crooning love songs, and hopefully I’ll have a cozy table next to the fireplace.
I would say that the ambiance is the most important part. I love to be “one” with my food.
