    Hi Caroline,

My husband and I are looking for a restaurant in NYC to celebrate our 13 year anniversary. We were leaning towards Italian but are a bit flexible (no Indian or anything too funky). Any suggestion ?
    Thanks.

    Hi Debbie!

Del Posto is listed as our #1 Italian restaurant in NYC via our Diners’ Choice listings — and I can tell you, having very recently dined there (and having ordered the 100-layer lasagne!), that it’s a terrific place to celebrate an anniversary. Elegant, great lighting, and wonderful service — not to mention delicious food. There are a few tasting menu options, but you can also order a la carte (and I, believe, if you ask, you may be able to get the lasagne that way, as well). There are great places in the neighborhood to have a pre-dinner drink. Colicchio & Sons has a vibrant tap room. Morimoto’s bar is fun, too! You can email me at cpotter at opentable.com if you have any questions. Cheers, and happy anniversary.

    Caroline
