I highly recommend The Brick Hotel in Newtown! My wife and I were just there on Saturday. After a misstep with a waiter that seemed very troubled, we got warm and amazingly quiet and diligent service by Maria. Chef Jeff came to our table to check on us and his food was 5 star! It was outstanding, to say the least, and we highly recommend a trip there. Just make sure that when you reserve you ask for Maria. She will take care of you.

Caroline started working in restaurants as a teen and she's since tackled every front-of-the-house job, from bartender and hostess to runner and server. She trained as a chef at Manhattan’s prestigious French Culinary Institute, cooking at L’Ecole.
